Oban Star Racers

This is a new production coming out of a colaboration with Sav! The World Productions, based out of Paris france, and their partner studio in Japan, Hal Film Maker's operating from Tokyo. It's a 2D/3D mix. I have yet to see a full episode, because in Canada we tend to get everything later than the rest of the world. I did check out some clips on YouTube.com. The production value of the show is incredible and if the series is as well written as it's visuals, it should be a hit. The concept was first circulated as a 3D promo called "Molly: Star Racer"more than 4 years ago. I would like to see more productions on this level. North America better wake up and realize that Europe and Asian markets have become way more creative and innovative than us. Or at least that's what I think as an insider who knows how things "Work". I recommend checking this series out if you have the ability to. Hopefuly it won't disappoint.

Suzuki G-strider

My next motorcycle, if Suzuki ever mass produces it. It's basically a large scooter. It reminds me of the motorcycles in Akira. If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about you need rent that movie and watch it ASAP. It is an Anime classic.Any ways, back to the futuristic concept, the G-strider. I know it's more cruiser than sport bike but it will be a heck-of-a-lot more comfortable and it still looks cool. What more could you ask for. From what I've seen of the competitors concept bikes, this one is in a league of it's own. Suzuki does it again!

Powerpuff Girls Z- episode 1

A friend of mine sent me a link a few months ago about this Anime Powerpuff show. I was fascinated by the concept but messing with the Powerpuff formula is a double edged sword. I have faith in the Japanese and the designs looked cool. It's a continuation of the series. The girls are now teenagers living in what can only be described as some kind of neo-tokyo type world. They fight with weapons this time, albeit toys. Bubbles uses, well, bubbles to fight with, Buttercup uses a big Nerf mallet and Blossom uses a Yo-Yo. Professor Utonium has an assistant and a dog. The Mayor still seems goofy but taller. Ms. Bellum looks a lot diferent but her face is still concealed. Now, the clip is in Japanese so I can't comment on the content. I found it strange that during their transformations they first appear in these swimsuit like body suits and then the little skirts are added as an after thought.....weird! Okay, you be the judge.......
